Helping you make sense of what you're feeling
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood or emotions that seem difficult to manage. Perhaps your relationships are suffering, you've lost confidence in yourself or you're simply exhausted from trying to hold everything together. Sometimes the reason is clear, such as a bereavement, relationship breakdown or traumatic experience. Other times, you simply know something doesn't feel right.
Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down, explore what's happening and make sense of your experiences in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. Together, we'll develop a deeper understanding of the thoughts, emotions and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while building practical strategies that help you move towards the life you want to live.
With over 20 years' experience working in mental health, I offer individual therapy for adults online across the UK and face to face in Hadleigh, Suffolk. Every session is tailored to your unique needs because no two people are the same.
A specialist in emotional regulation
Many people have never been taught how to understand or manage their emotions. Instead, emotions can feel confusing, overwhelming or out of control.
Helping people understand and regulate their emotions has become my specialist area of practice. As a qualified Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) therapist, I help clients recognise emotional patterns, understand what drives their reactions and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
Whether you're struggling with overwhelming emotions, relationship difficulties or long-standing coping strategies that no longer serve you, therapy can help you develop greater awareness, resilience and confidence.

My approach
Every person's story is different, so therapy should be too.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Transactional Analysis and Solution Focused Therapy.
My role isn't to tell you what to do. Instead, I work alongside you, helping you understand yourself more deeply, recognise patterns, explore new perspectives and develop practical skills that create meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, I aim to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard and understood.
What to expect
The first step is an initial assessment where we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you'd like support with and what you hope to gain from our work together.
This is also an opportunity for you to decide whether I feel like the right therapist for you. Finding someone you feel comfortable with is an important part of the therapeutic process.
If we decide to work together, sessions are usually offered weekly or fortnightly, either online or face to face, depending on your needs.
