Flourish Midlife® - Overview
Flourish Midlife® is a personal development programme designed to support women aged 40–60 through one of the most challenging yet transformative phases of life. Grounded in psychological research and therapeutic tools, we help women manage stress, prevent burnout and rebuild confidence.

Above all, we help women re-discover their authentic identity beyond the many roles and expectations which can so often overwhelm us in midlife.

This 6-week course guides women to reflect on what they truly want, let go of outdated expectations, and build a life that feels more purposeful, energised, and aligned with their values. It’s not just about coping with midlife, it’s about flourishing in midlife.
Course Overview
Midlife can be a time of change, uncertainty and questions, but it can also be a time of clarity, renewal and growth. Flourish Midlife® is a six-week online group programme, designed especially for women who want to navigate this chapter with confidence and purpose. Grounded in evidence-based psychotherapy, it blends practical skills, meaningful discussion and powerful exercises to help you reduce overwhelm, boost self-belief, set healthy boundaries and reconnect with what truly matters to you.

We start with a 30-minute introductory session where you’ll meet Sarah, explore your personal goals and have space to ask any questions. You’ll also receive a beautiful welcome pack, including a journal and pen and other midlife resources.
Each week you’ll gain tools you can use immediately, share experiences in a safe and supportive space and take home strategies to keep your progress going. Whether you’re looking for more balance, self-trust, or a renewed sense of purpose, Flourish Midlife® will give you the skills and the community to help you thrive.
Week 1: Overwhelm
We begin by understanding what overwhelm really is and how it shows up in your body, emotions, relationships and thinking. You’ll learn the “Wise Mind” model to help you respond rather than react and discover simple mindfulness practices that fit even the busiest of days. You’ll leave with small, manageable steps to calm your mind, lower stress and create space for what matters.
Week 3: Confidence
Confidence isn’t something you either have or don’t - it’s something you can grow. This week, you’ll reflect on your confidence story and discover ways to strengthen it through small, consistent wins. You’ll learn how to prepare for challenges, build more positive moments into your life and take meaningful steps towards your goals. You’ll leave feeling more capable and ready to back yourself.
Week 5: Assertiveness
Healthy boundaries and clear communication can transform relationships. This week, you’ll uncover what assertiveness really means, debunk common myths and practise simple, effective tools to speak up for yourself without conflict or guilt. You’ll also learn how to set and hold personal boundaries, navigate tricky conversations and validate others - helping you connect more deeply without losing yourself in the process.
Week 2: Identity
Midlife can bring a shift in how you see yourself. This week is about exploring those changes with compassion, recognising what you’ve lost and embracing what you can gain. You’ll learn the skill of Radical Acceptance to free yourself from unnecessary emotional struggle and identify the values that will guide your next chapter. By the end, you’ll have the start of a personal “live the life you want” plan, rooted in who you truly are.
Week 4: Self-Prioritisation
Putting yourself first is not selfish: it’s essential. We’ll explore why it can feel so hard for women to prioritise their own needs and how to overcome the guilt, people-pleasing and burnout that often get in the way. You’ll learn self-soothing and self-validation techniques and create a plan to meet your physical, emotional and personal needs without apology - so you can show up for yourself and others from a place of strength.
Week 6: Connection
We close the programme by focusing on connection: to yourself, to others and to life. You’ll explore the science and strategies for building meaningful relationships, learn how to overcome the obstacles that keep you feeling isolated and challenge unhelpful thoughts that limit connection. Through mindfulness practices and intentional action, you’ll leave with a renewed sense of belonging and a plan to keep those connections alive.
